Attorney Huff received her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2018. While there, she developed an interest in criminal appellate law, spending a summer working for the State Counsel for Offenders and fighting for incarcerated clients seeking review from our State’s highest courts. Attorney Huff also developed a passion for immigration law, interning for the Immigration Specialist at the Dallas Public Defender’s Office before law school and volunteering to help people navigate the daunting process of applying for DACA and U visa relief as an immigration clinic intern and student coordinator during law school. By working at Scott H. Palmer, P.C., Attorney Huff has been able to weave her interests into her dedication to criminal defense. In addition to her experience, Attorney Huff believes that her careful attention to detail, Baylor Law training on how to be “courtroom ready,” and unique compassion for her clients makes her an excellent advocate for all types of criminal cases, including:
- Drug Crimes
- Sex Crimes
- Family Violence
- Weapons Crimes
- Property Crimes
- Criminal Defense for Non-Citizens
Attorney Huff also graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2015 with a B.A. in International Studies and Anthropology, minoring in Human Rights and Spanish. Her experiences studying in Spain and conducting anthropological field work on LGBTQ issues in Peru helped her learn Spanish and appreciate people’s diverse backgrounds and stories. Aside from her work, Attorney Huff enjoys reading, traveling, and learning how to cook.
