Sorsha Huff Attorney

Bio

Attorney Huff graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in 2015 with a B.A. in International Studies and Anthropology, minoring in Human Rights and Spanish. Early on, Attorney Huff knew she wanted to be a criminal defense attorney, interning for the immigration specialist at the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office before beginning law school in 2016. During law school, Attorney Huff interned with the State Counsel for Offenders, working on post-conviction writs and civil commitment defense, and with a local immigration firm, drafting DACA and U-visa applications. Shortly after receiving her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2018, Attorney Huff joined Scott H. Palmer, P.C. Since then, Attorney Huff has worked with the team on all levels of criminal cases, working closely with the appellate section, handling all expunctions and nondisclosures, and expanding the firm’s practice to include class C tickets. Attorney Huff’s varied practice area helps her keep clients’ unique priorities in mind, including immigration and criminal record concerns. Additionally, Attorney Huff’s past experiences studying and traveling in Spain and Peru helps her communicate with Spanish-speaking clients. Attorney Huff’s long-term dedication to criminal defense can be seen in her work ethic, attention to detail, and compassion for clients with all types of stories.

Attorney Huff also enjoys learning how to cook, painting, reading memoirs, and spending time with her family and friends.

"Everyone should have at least one person in their corner at all times, regardless of what they’ve been accused of, and especially when the whole world is against them. Being in their corner means that I’ll speak up for them, protect their rights, and ensure they don’t go through the storm alone."
