I wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for an enlightening and educational two days in the courtroom! As with most folks summoned for jury duty, I would have preferred to have a root canal than serve on a jury. I'm the sole income provider at home now (husband's job was outsourced in July) working on a commission basis, and didn't want to spend time away from work.
Having served during the past two days, I found the experience to be extremely valuable. It was good to use my analytical skills again. Having conducted well over a thousand interviews with employment candidates and subsequent hiring procedures, I found a distinct similarity in the thought process - being your own devil's advocate. I also wish I could roll back the hands of time -- I now find the legal system fascinating and probably should have pursued a career in law instead of sales.
I also came to the conclusion that if I ever get caught up in a legal matter, I will definitely contact you for my defense! You did an outstanding job, and as difficult as it was for us to reach the verdict of not guilty, it WAS the correct decision based on the facts at hand.
Thank you again, Scott! And of course, if you ever have an interest in returning to the "Ultimate Driving Machine," I'll be sure to provide you with an exceptional experience!
Best regards,
